1a- Production of the first prototype
Two prototypes 1 were built:

The prototype 1A working in discontinuous batches has a treatment capacity of c. 100 g of waste + reagents / combustion. In discontinuous modality, for each waste type, it was possible to calibrate the optimal waste / reagents to attain the most profitable neutralisation of asbestos.

The prototype 1B working in continuous batches has a treatment capacity up to 500 g of waste + reagents / combustion. We associated the data from thermocouples and the calculated reaction speed to support the project of prototype 2.
Both prototypes 1 were assembled and installed at the DCCI – UNIGE.
The action was ended by June 2014
